I follow quite a bit of local non league. Because of league moves and travelling etc, there's a big turnover of players some summers. Chelsea seem to be the professional equivalent of this. Their fans must come back in August and have to learn all the new squad numbers again. The fact they do it while handing out the longest contracts in the game makes it even more remarkable.

It was always going to happen, club basically don't see you in their plans and let you go elsewhere, then pull the rug on the move and expect you to come back and give your all.

He's contacted to Chelsea though so unless it's all signed and sealed I don't see what he can do.
