Just reading some reports about him and his primary Rohl is box-to-box midfielder, but he can also play attacking midfield, deep lying pivot (yay!) and at a push left wing as an inverted winger.

Seems like a good profile with his size and versatility.

Rohl looks like a Fellaini/Soucek all-around type who can play in whatever midfield role is needed.

Seems like Moyes wants versatility from this new midfielder more than he wants a traditional DM skillset given the previous links to Soucek.

Happy we’re going for the young version. Not as accomplished as Soucek in front of goal but lots of good defensive work and looks better with the ball at his feet too.
