Reckon he scores that chance if he wasn’t petrified of his body giving up on him.

He just isn’t as committed and full blooded as he used to be and that’s perfectly understandable and I’m not criticising him for it.

It’s just what happens when you’re a player of his type with a lot of injuries on the clock.

Clearly the problem, not relaxed, which may lead to a long term drought - desperately needs a strike partner

Just keep alternating with Beto. It will come for him.

He definitely doesn’t trust his body and who could blame him.

Agree with the logic of continuing to rotate with Beto. Start for 60’ one game, come off the bench for 30’ the next.

Keep him fresh and perhaps the trust will return.

Either way, it’s nice to have him as a legit option. Was painful to watch him claw his way back to fitness just to pull up with another issue within a match or two.

Dyche and his team really seem to understand and value fitness. You can see that they’d rather play their second choice player at 100% than first choice at anything less than that.

Wow, don’t like the sound of that, we appealed on Friday so should have heard something by now, think the difference is
Mcallisters red didn’t go to VAR so var doesn’t come under criticism, on paper both the Ref and VAR were in agreement that it was a red so makes them look like idiots.

Be absolutely amazed if they over turn it. Obviously never should have been given in the first place but there’s no chance they are gonna admit they were wrong, especially to a team as irrelevant as us. The only encouraging thing is that generally pundits and fans of other clubs are in support of us on this one

Guess it depends how many times they look at it in slow motion !

Or, is it the case that the match officials were PL officials and this will be reviewed by FA officials ?

Premier League
clubs can appeal certain red cards on the basis of 'wrongful dismissal'. Once the appeal has been made, the on-field decision will be reviewed by the FA via an independent regulatory commission. This commission is made up of three people who will discuss the appeal after looking over reports from the referee and the fourth official, as well as video evidence of the incident itself.

Wonder what the delay on this is? We've got a game on Sunday.

It’s in the FA’s (ie. Liverpools) interest that the red card gets rescinded. Can’t be having Villa threaten the top 4.
