I think when we feed him and teams double up on him, we've got to be sharper at picking the times not to give him the ball. If they have doubled up, it should offer space elsewhere for other runners and that's where we can make him even more effective.
I want to see the Grealish/Dibling/NDiaye combo for this reason.

Might be terrible in practice mind you.

Would help if we had a cm who could switch it nicely. At the moment we have to work so hard to get the ball to Gana, Garner, etc and we just don't have that regista style into feet, switch, into feet, switch that helps move back fours around.

Is this the kind of thing that Rohl is meant to be good at?

Quick passes, switching play etc

Hope so!

I actually think it’s a bit more balanced than some make out. With Ndiaye on the right we have threats on both sides, the fact that we’re often going for Grealish is just because he’s so fucking good.

Absolutely no idea.

I sort of think he will be because he's tall and handsome but that might just be Andre Gomesitis, I've had cases of this before.

In my head he's what Fellaini was supposed to be.

He’s going to get fed up real fast

Spends half the time trying to tell everyone where to move to and how to pass, just for them to ignore him

Never seen a player win as many free kicks as this lad.

Some real emotion coming from Jack in that interview. You can just tell he is all in.

So so happy that he got the winner. Fully deserved after his start to the season.

On scoring his first Everton goal: "It's brilliant. It's so nice to score here. Do you know what's mad? The last games we've played here we've been drawing and I keep saying to myself in the 85th minute, 'Come on Jack, go and score. Imagine if you scored now'. I did it against Villa, I did it against West Ham and I didn't score, so today I actually said the same thing again and I scored and I ran to where my mum and dad were, so it was nice. That goal goes to all the Evertonians for making me feel so welcome here.

Loves it doesn't he?

Hearing him talk warms the heart. He loves playing. Desperate to do well. Grateful for his opportunity. Humble

Feel a bit sorry for him because we aren't really providing a good platform for him because of the fullback situation

It's refreshing to hear a player say that he wasn't MOTM, but a player on the opposite side was. I bet he's well liked by his fellow professionals.
