Saw someone describe him as an NPC when we signed him and thought that was harsh

It's not

Unfortunately that was up there with one of the worst individual performances I've ever seen last night.

Would be shocked to see he completed more than 5 passes.

I've tried to deconstruct that shot he had last night and I can't work out how he managed it even by mistake, it was bonkers.

I wondered if he'd accidentally nudged it with his left foot first which whilst rare does happen even to good players sometimes... But it wasn't even that, and I couldn't work out for the life of me how he managed to do what he did.

At home chasing a goal, on as a sub, is his ideal role at the moment.

Still wouldn’t trust him with any form of responsibility in our half of the field. Not sure what his attributes are. Probably very lucky to be involved in his PSR deal which has given him an unexpected opportunity at a level he clearly wasn’t ready for.

Has too much about him to be a write off.

He’s really good in duels and always seems to win out, travels with the ball really well and is always looking to make an impact.

Was interesting to see moyes with him at full time with his arm round him giving him a good talking too as if to say you won us that game today.

He obviously sees something in him.

We have a few players that I would consider very good impact players from the bench (Alcaraz, Beto) and Tim is one of them. These kinds of players are better coming from the bench than starting. In Betos case, it’s not really ideal when you don’t have a starting option.

Tim won’t ever be a starting CM for us but he made a significant impact on the game today and got us a result. Brought good energy and a great forward run got the penalty. At this moment in time, he is earning his value in the squad.

If we want the squad depth to develop going forwards, we need more players that are going to seriously compete for a starting berth. It doesn’t feel like we have that.
