No, definitely not. It has all been a bit shambolic since he went and the purchase of Chermiti is looking like a very expensive mistake. I haven't seen much of him there but I think he's only started a couple of games and been subbed on in the others.

He looked crap tonight, completely ineffective. There doesn't seem much personality in this Rangers side, though obviously they have suffered a couple of months of Martin.

Thelwell hiring his son was a terrible move. Even if he's qualified for the role and was put through a rigorous process, just smacks or arrogance and sends the wrong message.

Seems like hes just signed and employed family mates and people generally familiar to him. Doesn't look good when decent results don't follow

Thought Chermitti looked relatively OK for us.

I say that to Rangers fans when they're moaning about him, for all he never scored for us he didn't look out of his depth in a Niasse kind of way. But he's a striker and so far he has three goals to his name since 2022 and if he doesn't cut it in the Scottish league then you kind of have worry where his career is going.

I don't watch a whole lot of Scottish football these days, but I reckon I'll tune into Hearts v Celtic on Sunday.

Even if Hearts went 8 clear, you'd imagine they'll make hard work of it and Celtic could catch them, for all they've been fairly poor they've still only lost one game.

Agree with this. You imagine Hearts will drop off and Celtic improve as the season progresses but if Hearts do win this weekend and open that gap up then it puts a pressure on Celtic that they haven't felt domestically for a long time.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
