Extra hour in bed, long walk in the autumn sunshine, healthy lunch, Mrs Chang out for the day, soak in the bath, Villa V City .... was all going so well,

0 - 3 at home to any opposition is not acceptable, we huffed and puffed but all seemed predictable as ever I felt…. Their keeper had a good game as they do, but

Thought Keane did well, Barry was better, Rohl looked keen.

1-Norris / 2- Hamilton / 3 - Russel improves my mood.

It's probably going to be highs and lows all season, but next 2 games are massive,

Badly need to beat Fulham , few 6 pointers between Forest , Leeds , Burnley Wolves West Ham Fulham. Before the International break

We are a couple of bad results from only being above the 3 that are getting cast adrift

14th is about where we are in reality Had a poor squad going into the summer, got a few good players but didn't really resolve any of the glaring issues in the team.

Think id actually prefer alcaraz to KDH though. Least he gets us on the front foot sometimes

We will probably get a total significantly less than what moyes was averaging last season. Think its been an absolute failure both in terms of the players we signed the strategy we implemented. If I could do it again id stick with grealish and rohl and take our money back on everyone else.

3 nil. Shite
3-0 but the bounce of the ball and the direction of some calls could have had it the other way round too. We weren't outclassed by any measure.

I'm not saying it was perfect transfer window either, but we do tend to gloss over the transfer wins and heavily criticise the misses in a notoriously fickle and difficult game of transfer roulette.

We really have no idea how good Dibling will be, as he hasn't played, and Barry is definitely a WIP and has potential. You don't get an up and coming international striker for nothing... the risks are inherent, no club always wins these decisions. Röhl could be a real find.

For some perspective, we've spent 3m per year over the last 5 seasons. West Ham have spent 75m per season, Burnley and Fulham 25m per season. Right after a loss (our first home loss, might I add) feels shit I agree, but let's give the recruiting team at least one window in their jobs before we jump on them too heavily.

He's tidy but he's not on the level of anyone either side of him. Drop him for Alcaraz or move him back

Don't agree. We are stuck with them so we have to give them more time but having a team that can't field a right back isn't something you just give them more time to fix. Its inexcusable

Our first defeat at home that leaves us 1 point above burnley. We've been largely crap and the transfer wins your talking about are players who we don't know because we didnt need them so they don't play

It is what is it. We are writing another season off now. On top of the last 10.

I like KDH, but hes not a 10. And its not even like he's being forced to play there because we havent got a 10. We've got 2/3 better options to play there.

Gana/Garner just doesnt work. Neither is dominant, neither is progressive. Theyre both just bodies.

We've no functional full backs, no CM who can play as a single pivot, no pace out wide, and no striker who can score.

Its pretty grim.

Grealish must be thinking what’s the point. Picks his head up and sees Beto stood like a donkey up top, myko running around like a headless chicken and the rest just ambling around looking at him to do something.

Could see him look at the sky in frustration when we broke and he passed it on to Beto's feet and made a run beyond him... By the time Beto had taken 6 touches to get a simple ball under control and passed it back to a CM on the halfway line Jack was looking at the heavens in disbelief and frustration.

Bazza looked okay when he came on, at least you can play off him.

Never looks like scoring though.
