Made me chuckle.
Reckon if they lose to Villa he could be on borrowed time.
My only worry is they go for either Glasner or Areola.
Glasner won't get a top job. He's brilliant but he plays uber direct counter attacking football which wouldn't translate to a team dominating possession and trying to break down defences in a low block.
Palace have the least touches out of any team this and last season when going from a defensive action to a shooting opportunity in the premier league.
Iriola would imo be the most likely candidate and I'd hate that so so much because he's genuinely a brilliant manager imo.

Glasner will get a top job at some point like. Brilliant manager.
Not unless he changes his whole philosophy, and given that's what's made him such a success at Palace I don't see it happening.
He's a brilliant manager no doubt about it, but you can't play the way he plays at a top team because those teams don't play ultra direct counter attacking football.
Needs to move up a level and prove himself there before talk of a top team has any validity.
You would have been carted off if you had suggested the Liverpool v Sunderland on the first weekend would have been played with Sunderland the higher of the two in the league but you wouldn't rule it out now.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
I am hoping this weekend's game with Villa is abandoned as a horrific run of injuries leaves neither side able to field seven fit players before the end.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
According to Stephen Warnock they're still mouring Jota and when they sing the Jota song after 20 minutes the players visibly drop off for 5 or 10 minutes after as it distracts them. That's page 437 of the Kopite Book of Excuses sorted.

It’s grief porn now. Doing it every game makes it meaningless.

Its like no one else has ever lost anyone and had to get on with their lives.
Contradicing himself now and its not squad depth anymore , it's injuries , availablity and a poor pre season . Weren't saying that when they won all 7 in comps at the beginning.
And the Jota situation, he was probably getting sold too to fund all this spending.
