Agree he seems to be throwing his toys out the pram at the minute and I think that's affecting the team as a result. Doesn't exactly scream of a harmonious dressing room and training pitch unfortunately.

I'd not do anything until the summer (since little serious business happens in January, and we really shouldn't do anything other than bring back Armstrong and move Garner to RB then), but can't do another full season like this. Plus, Moyes will moan about making the Grealish thing permanent, which (though the loan is working way better than I expected) would be madness.

Yep. Blames it all on Barry in the first minute of his interview. Incredible man management! 😡

Ruined two strikers in 10 games this season.

Quite the achievement.

He's made it clear Barry has no future here, but his rationale for McNeil was pathetic, because are the others not? What must Dibling, Rohl and Alcaraz be thinking if a one legged, not selected before gets in before them. Did he train on the right then, because why put him there?? His stubbornness will lose him the fans before long

It did, but this is a season long issue with our strikers, so he needs to address it by adapting. I'm not sure he does it much. The subs are late and ineffective because of that. Alcaraz can change a game, but Moyes doesn't pick him, yet throws him on at the last minute and Charly can't show him his real impact in that time
Lastly, can he not see the Grealish argument and moving him to a 10? Seems not.

Needs to do something different with Grealish, because every team now knows to double up on him and that’s how you kill Everton. Only rare moments of individual brilliance can save us after that because it all just goes through Grealish.

I'm not defending him and I have no idea what he is thinking at the moment, but that did feel like the pivotal moment of the match.

2-0 up away from home is something a Moyes team should be able to defend for three points, unfortunately it was a costly miss from what 3-4 yards out.

You can't ruin something that's shit to begin with so not sure that's particularly accurate tbf.

Not happy with his treatment of Barry though so I'll agree on that one.

Is it not the managers job to ensure heads dont drop?

I would argue that the fact he chops and changes between Barry / Beto and makes it obvious he doesn't like either, is affecting this.

Heads drop because Barry now knows he is going to be subbed off and lost his opportunity. Thats way too much pressure for a young lad in a new country/league.

We were still winning, so I don't understand why the manager cant or wont focus on the positive at half time, tell them to forget the miss, move on, create more chances. Tell Barry he is the man and he believes in him etc you know, man management?!

Sunderland were always going to get into the game at some point and boss the stats but there should be a better approach to dealing with the pressure, being solid, and not shitting the fucking bed the minute a team puts us under pressure.
