He seems to have done the reverse of most aging players, he's retired from domestic football to solely play international football.

It's a wee bit mad. We have a centre half and a midfielder playing RB, while Seamus sits on the bench. I'm not advocating him playing every game but, surely, there's a case to play him against the liked of Fulham? He's probably the best pure RB we have at the club, attacking and defending. I'd love to have a RB anywhere between 19 and 23 but we don't. Play the best we have, if he breaks down then c'est la vie.

I think asking Seamus to play 90 in the EPL is very different to asking him to play 90 minutes in a low block in a game of International football. I’m not for a second taking away from the man. Yeah, I was thinking that earlier, we've basically given him a contract so that he can play for Ireland. Hopefully they're picking up his wages too, absolutely pointless contract extension when he's third choice.
