Claims they plan to make it even steeper than BMD, when we've literally made it as steep as you're allowed to

I understand that it’s a nod to the city but that’s fucking ugly.

Incredibly ugly and I'm surprised it hasn't been massively mocked all round

Looks ridiculous. If someone had told me it was a joke id of believed them.

Also how fucking odd is their love in with Bellingham. He played 41 games and scored 4 goals for them all in lower league football and all while achieving nothing.... they've retired his number and treat him like their biggest legend ever

When it was first announced earlier this week, some of their fans were taking the piss oit of it, saying stuff like "Currently averaging 3-4k below capacity, so let's build an even bigger stadium with 20k extra seats and make it even more empty"

Talking about it costing between 1.5 and 2.5 billion depending what you read. The whole idea seems outlandish for a club who haven't been in the top flight for ages

It's worse than that. It isn't 20k extra. They are going from St Andrews (pushing 30k capacity) to a capacity of 62k at the new place. Can't fault their ambition but it seems insane to be honest. Villa has always been the bigger club in the city and it's worth remembering they were closing parts of the ground during the Championship non promotion season of only a decade or so ago.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Might be semi ok if it were rectangular and had a chimney on each corner, but the round design looks mental.

It's woeful. Won't fit with the surroundings either.
