Bournemouth v Everton
Re: Bournemouth v Everton
I love mid table mediocrity. I know we never likely to go down, but when you think 6-7 wins from our last 24 games will be enough to stay up, it does feel so nice.
Re: Bournemouth v Everton
Yes, there was an attack too where the player, Tavernier I think, was faffing about in our box, crowd were geting agitated, passed the ball and he responded to the crowd behind the goal - next touch was booed, thought it strange at the time.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 9:28 pm Anyone else see the Bournemouth players giving it back to the fans during the game when they passed it backwards
Well played Everton, I enjoyed the game, although did cross my mind with 30 seconds to go " we can't lose now" such are my nerves watching Everton .... too many times we get turned over after leading by Bournmouth
1 point from last 15 for Bournmouth.

We’re a midtable team
We can go and win away in difficult games, then get a smashing at home.
Whatever we are this season, it’s so much better than what we’ve been in the last five years.
For the most part, we’ve looked like a proper football team.
We could easily get done against forest at the weekend but so what. It’s just part of the ride this season.

Re: Bournemouth v Everton
McNeil didn't look like he'd been on the lash all week for the first time this season, so that's another positive.

Typical Moyes’ Everton. Always pull a shock result out after a disappointing one

This is something I've always praised him for. Always thought of it as him giving the team a good shake and telling them what we expect.

Great win, deserved it too we were the better side overall. Final ball was poor and needs to improve. We're doing okay would be nice to tick along like this and have a good cup run.

Re: Bournemouth v Everton
Probably a bit of a case of Moyes stumbling across a system that worked due to injuries and suspensions which we've seen before with him.
But this is the way the season will go for us and a lot of other teams. It'll be close all season, Arsenal might sneak away but the promoted teams seem a little better, the "top teams" seem a little shitter and it's brought the whole league a lot closer. It's going to be a roller coaster for a while yet and we'll have similar weeks with great highs and bad lows.

First win at Bournemouth in the league, hope Junior Stanislas enjoyed that one

Re: Bournemouth v Everton
Beat Utd and Bournemouth away and lose at home to Newcastle.
Everton that.
Three wins from four is a difficult ask in this league.
On track for finishing on around 55 points.

Enough for 11th last season, I'd take that honestly.Indiantoffee75 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 10:26 pm Beat Utd and Bournemouth away and lose at home to Newcastle.
