Would way rather this than Spain or germany etc where same teams win every game.
I don't think anyone's saying that competition isn't a good thing, I'd far rather this than the top four lock out, I just don't think the quality of player or games is particualrly high.

I think the "anyone can beat anyone" thought is a bit of a myth too, none of the bottom 5 have more than 3 wins to their name, Wolves haven't even won a game yet. It maybe works a bit higher up the table, Chelsea have only won 7 out of 13 games so clearly some teams are taking points off the "top" clubs but they've only lost three games. The lower end of the table is still pretty shite though and there's already some chunky minus goal differences building up.

Good discussion by the way, shame it's stuck in the matchday thread. :)

If we'd lost last night then this discussion would have resulted in someone being called a cunt by now

A winning matchday thread always lasts a bit longer, a defeat and one of us would have quietly filed it away in the archive by lunchtime. :)

I for one am happy over these last 4 seasons that a small portion of the bottom of the table's quality levels could only be described as "fucking shite"

I agree, on paper it's a ridiculous squad.

I looked at their bench last weekend and it blew me away, all apart from Kepa would walk into our team.

Odegaard
Gyokeres
Madueke
Lewis-Skelly
White
Jesus
Kepa
Norgaard
Nwaneri

That's your bench?
Give over haha
