Dare to dream……while at the same time take a photo of the current league table. It’s so so much better than the last few years of misery.
Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
I've looked at the table about 8 times during and since the match... Yep definitely 5th, can't quite believe it. Appreciate might not be after tomorrow but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

I don’t wanna take ALL the credit, but….. Sacrificed myself again for the good of the club. Another one not watched - another 3 pts.

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
We are gonna win the fucking lot arent we. Well apart from the league cup
Seriously though its nice to be well clear of the danger and not be desperately hoping 3 or 4 lose every week to keep us safe. It is hard to get out of that mindset though. I still check the relegation odds after every win and hide from them when we lose
Feels like we have a decent future after a good few years of just hoping to survive

Re: Everton v Nottingham Forest
Bit of a seminal moment for me yesterday.
Seeing our ex manager come to our gaff with a squad much better than ours, set his team up in a basic 442 with no pattern of play other than get the ball in the box and pick up the scraps.
Taking off a player like sangare for Ryan Yates at half time, play gibbs white up front taking him out the game, and having no way of changing it to get back into the game.
I saw their pass map in the second half and there was nothing in the middle. Everything going out wide for a load of aimless crosses.
That was us not too long ago.
Now we have moyes. We have patterns of play, we go direct, but we also play through the lines. He’s built the midfield around two very, very, good footballers in Grealish and dewsbury hall.
He put mykolenko back in that inverted full back role in the second half and opened the game up for both of them.
Light years of difference between the two and I’m so happy we’re one the right side of things for once and not having the deal with the absolute tripe managers like dyche serve up anymore.

I’ll say it again. Seeing his ironic laughing “games gone” face when things didn’t go his way made me remember how much I disliked having him as our manager.

Love how insignificant it was him being back. No real reception either way just a shrug of the shoulders. Hope that hurt him more than anything.
Loved the whole ground singing the Moyes had a dream song as well late second half.

Just seen Dyche whinging on MOTD saying it was plain to see the ball hit the ref (don’t think it was) and that the game should have been stopped, also had a dig at Tarks which he wouldn’t have done 12 months ago !
