I worry about him having two international tournaments in the space of six months.

Feels like it’s going to be impossible to keep him around with all the hype around him.

At least it’ll drive his value up hopefully.

I think this is right but he's reached the stage that I just want him about the place. I know that won't be forever but I think he's that good and is the most enjoyable player we've had to watch in a very very long time that I can't imagine the price point at which I say it's fair enough.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

I’d rather we kept him too, great having a player who’s so tricky and with an end product most of the time.
Would need to be silly money.

What do we realistically think clubs would be willing to pay for him?

Eze went for £67.5m (+£7.5m add ons) and he's 2 years older than Ndaiye, so I'd say about the same.

If we can get that for a player that cost us I think £18m it's great business, especially as we have Dibling waiting in the wings to step in... I'd be gutted if he left but tbh I think we have to take sentimentality out of things like this as it's just part of the modern game. Very few clubs can hold on to their top players, and buying low, developing and selling for a high fee is the business model we need to follow to avoid the desperate situations we've been in recently and hopefully move up the table to a consistent top 6-8 position.

That was his release clause. I think hed have been 100m otherwise. Were his numbers even as impressive?

Like I said 2 years older though, so I think it's a fair price for Ndaiye who's only just turned 25 and appears to be entering the peak years of his career.

He is one of the few proper ballers around, got £65m bid from Spurs written all over him.

I think to get a really ''big'' move (which wouldn't include Spurs), someone is going to need to bid a lot of money for him in the next 18 months or so.

I can't see massive bids coming in for him when he gets to 27/28, so I think we're already in a fairly narrow window where he could leave for big money.

I think he falls into the sweet spot of not being good enough to get massive bids for him (say £80m plus), but too good and too important to us to accept a middling amount for him.

He's moved around a lot already in the last few years, and he seems really happy here. With the improvement in players around him, and the growing ambition of the club, I actually think it's more likely that he stays with us.

24 g+a in the championship last time he was there.
Then 11 in the premier last year
6 so far this.

Add in to that his defensive contributions and you've got a brilliant option for a team that plays good footy but demands the defensive side too.

Imagine how good he'd be in a better team than us, and I think one of the top teams from either here or abroad will try get him in the summer if he continues to impress. Would be an ideal Trossard replacement at Arsenal for example.

9g 0a last year in the prem.

Rookie numbers! He's capable of much much more and I hope to see him achieve it.
