Sorry, lads, but Brap was right on this one.

He’s rubbish. Can’t control the ball.

The haterz have to take the L here.

As always a mixed bag, grew in to the game and played some good passes including setting up Ndaiye, and was unlucky with a blocked shot inside the area.

Beautiful cross field pass to Grealish too at one point.

Obviously awful pass when he first came on but he tends to struggle coming on as sub, so took a while to get up to speed with the game.

I like some stuff! He gets shots off and he's positive. He's definitely NOT a fanny which is a tick in my book.

But he's half a player isn't he. Be moved on shortly to someone mad under mysterious circumstances.

Would’ve been a lovely goal that, with Dibling’s flick, Alcaraz’ ball, and Ndiaye’s patented shimmy.

It’s a fair ‘half a player’ shout but there probably is a player in there given the run of games he needs to develop. Not sure we will ever be able to offer him that though.

If he doesn’t get a run of games now with afcon and injuries I’ll be amazed

Inconsistency will always let him down.

We still need a squad so got no qualms about him starting as every so often he'll produce something.

You can tell why he's not trusted by Moyes though.

I just think it's a real shame Moyes doesn't rate him, there's clearly a player there who just needs to mature through game time.

He has a lot of really good qualities like his excellent pressing and creativity. He's always positive and looking to drive forward.

He just makes poor decisions at times and is sloppy with his passing sometimes, but these are things that can be worked on and developed. I don't think he'd ever be a £60m type player, he's probably always going to be a little too erratic and lacks the footballing intelligence of a top player, but I also think he could get to a pretty good level just by playing and being trusted with the shirt for a prolonged period.

Said from his very first appearances: makes you think he's caused things to happen.
Makes a shit decision and it all goes to shit.
But keeps trying.

Basically close to a Ross Barkley regen

I really like him as an option at 10, he'll battle and try things, plus he'll bust a gut on the break.

Centre mid he wont cut it.

Genuinely I think he'd be better as a ST option than a CM, you can't trust him with the ball in your own half.

Handy player to have when you're chasing a game though as he presses well and does try to make things happen even if he loses the ball - not sure I can ever see him developing into a starter though.

I don't think he's much of a danger in our own half tbh, it's just purely when he comes on as sub it takes him a while to get up to speed with the game so he makes some bad decisions.

When he starts he plays better and more importantly the team plays much better. Doubt Moyes will ever see this though and actually play him enough to iron out the rawness and decision making in his game though unfortunately.

His best pass this year was to Garnacho
