Today's Football 2025-26
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
It'll probably happen more and more but it's a bit of a sad reflection of the modern game as kick off times move away from traditional Saturdays. Man Utd are on course to go four months without a Saturday 3pm kick off.

I know this is down to my age, and the younger posters probably don't see much of a problem with this, but saturday at 3 was always the height of the week, there is no better feeling than 5 o'clock after a win on a saturday.
I honestly think that in a few years watching your team on a saturday afternoon will become a luxury.
Shame on everyone involved in that

I agree there should always be a strong selection of traditionally timed games, part of the problem is that the 3PM fixtures tend to often be the "lower tier" games now with the bigger teams moved to different time slots so it gives those 3PM games an air of second class status. So I'd like them to randomise it a bit more.
However, in general I don't mind them spreading games out a bit. It feels like you get a mix of games and tempo that way with some in the afternoon, some under the floodlights, maybe some different weather conditions, etc.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Boro blowing it big time today. Coventry have had a bit of a wobble lately and their lead has gone from 10 to 6 points but Boro could have cut it to 3 today but lost to Bristol City.

Wolves equal the record for consecutive games from the start of the season without a win.
Liverpool and United away next
Could go half the season without a win.

Already played Burnley, Leeds and Forest as home as well. I think it's very hard to break that Derby record as Southampton showed last season but they don't look up to much, do they?

I think the idea behind the Edwards appointment is he's a good championship manager so they where already planning on going down in my opinion.
