Everytime we loop a ball into the box and I see the opposition keeper coming to collect an easy catch yet again, I imagine Kangaroo Calvert Lewin steaming in and leaping head and shoulders above everyone.

Even in my imagination his header goes over the bar, but right before that bit it's a really really magical dream.

DCL’s form isn’t helping the feelings towards Barry and Beto I imagine.

His heat map of goals scored is incredible though, that’s another centre of goal between the penalty spot and the 6 yard area.

All that said, he always has been a streaky player in terms of form and injuries usually are sadly around the corner for him. So this does feel in the normal ballpark so far. Going to put himself into England contention though if he can keep going and stay fit.

He's always had streaks in him, he needs to do it through the season and stay fit though.

Even if he does, fair play but I'm not into any kind of regret. We offered him a deal, he didn't want it and we were right not to go in deep on him given his injury record and age. He's still more likely to break down than break records this season.

Same here, i don't have any regrets either.
We offered him a deal and he didn't want it, that's his choice and yes we would have been mad to go all in on him he couldn't stay fit and when he was he didn't look like scoring.
I was out on xmas eve talking to mate i havn't seen for a while who's a leeds fan and told him what had happened with his original offer being withdrawn and he said he totally get's it he said his impression of dcl before he went there was a half decent striker that was always injured.
And while he's loving what he's doing at the moment he knows he could break down at anytime and they go through what we did numerous times

My tongue is slightly in my cheek but honestly, I give you a week of living by a few of them and you'd wish nothing but misfortune on them, and David Cameron can fuck off and so can Prince William.

I thought the Dom and Richy to score on the same day double was in then.

Good job Palace started the season well because they look absolutely knackered at the halfway point of the season.

Don't think Spurs are anything great under Frank. Will be a much needed win if they hold on though.
