Just hope that this isn't a reaction to KDH being out for much longer than expected.
Still nothing on KDH which is a serious worry. Also N'Diaye seems to have picked something up at AFCON, so you can see why he has been recalled, amongst all of the other injury concerns.

Yeah I know that, was just tagging on to an injury concern thread and raising the weird Moyes response when asked about these two, would be nice to have a couple of options on the bench and just one goalie.
Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Moyes has been rather shy when elaborating on timescales and details with injuries lately.
Maybe he is just fed up with injuries that he can’t be arsed to even talk about it. Or there is a virus going around and he doesn’t want the opposition to know. Or they were hungover. Or Keane and Charly had a massive fight that ended with Keane knocking Charly out.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
Really excited that he's come back. I just hope he plays.
Paddy Boyland was saying we may just keep him until the end of the month and send him back to Preston again when we have all our players back. That makes sense to me.
We have three home games now, it will be great to see him feature and hopefully start against Sunderland.

Think it's a shame he's coming back as I'm virtually certain he won't start at least initially.

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
I’d rather he was getting regular game time on loan in the championship rather than sitting on the bench for Everton with the odd cameo if we happened to be 3-0 up with 5 mins to go.
Plus we’ve got PSR Tim and Garner playing well in midfield plus Rohl, KDH and Alcaraz can play in his position as well as Gana who should come back from AFCON some time this month.
Unless there is a major injury crisis we have no idea about?

Re: Future Captain Harrison Armstrong
I think that’s the case, plus Röhl is made of glass, his injury record is very poor, not just with us,but with his former clubs too.toffee_scot wrote: ↑Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:13 pm I’d rather he was getting regular game time on loan in the championship rather than sitting on the bench for Everton with the odd cameo if we happened to be 3-0 up with 5 mins to go.

If he was in the squad then he'd have started last night with Garner at RB
