Rate the Toffee - #5 Neal Maupay
Re: Rate the Toffee - #4 Kevin Campbell
An easy 9 for me. He was more than the sum of his parts, he was a leader and a genuinely great man who just got us and never stopped fighting our corner in the media.
The impact of those goals he scored when he came in can't be overstated either, his arrival and performances were vital and potentially saved us from a very different future.
Love you Super Kev.

9 for me... Remember when we were linked with him and was outraged. Couldn't understand how the club thought this guy would somehow keep us up.
Clearly I was wonderfully wrong. Those goals were everything to us staying up, and he was pretty good after that too even if not scoring as often.
Great leader on the pitch and seemed to be a great guy off it too.

Initial impact was a 10 that first part season. Continued to be very good although obviously not that level of spectacular for a long time and was an absolute gem even after retirement. Has to be an 8.
Got a good mate who is an Albion fan who loves him as well. He was part of that side that scrambled and stayed up having been bottom at Xmas. He signed for them in the January.
Can't think of a bloke more universally popular at such a range of clubs.

In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Has to be at least an 8. That one half season alone was incredible. He saved us. Marks down a bit for losing impact a little afterwards.

Definitely a 9 for me. How wrong was I when we signed him, thought he was going to be a dud coming after a season in Turkey. Inspiration on and off the pitch, lovely partnership with Jeffers, until he though the grass was greener at Arsenal.

9.
We go down that season without those goals, simple as that.
Such a likable fella too.

Great player, great man.
You may say there’s some sentimentality is this, and there is, but there is also the absolute certainty we’d have been relegated without him. So his above and beyond contribution and impact has to be reflected as well.

Super Kev Campbell ends the list on 8.64 which sends him to the top.
With Brentford up next, seems as good a time as ever to bring in the main man himself:

I gave him a 1 because he scored a goal and played on the pitch. However he was also massively shit and has been a cunt towards us.
Re: Rate the Toffee - #5 Neal Maupay
I really wanted to give him a 0, but he did score once, so a 1 is fair as much as I can't stand the little wanker.

Did almost nothing in an everton shirt and is a cunt. Its a zero.
I do think hes a much better player than he showed for us though (that's a low bar) and if he were signing now to cover betos minutes hed probably do okay under moyes
