A year to settle in, having had that time to identify a number of targets. I expect another busy period of players coming in. We need four, possibly another five first teamers in. Another significant outlay required of approx £150 million plus.
I think we will have a few impasse’s still.

Transfer committee wanting young hipster data lads, and Moyes favouring pl experience.

Maybe it's because he's David Moyes, the guy we loved but over time got to know his flaws and now we are seeing them again.

Just come up with a plan for the flanks. Show us you're working on stuff in training, trying different things, looking for solutions both pre and in game.

All just feels a bit meh. Which I suppose is a step in the right direction from last game theatre and just about staying in the league.

But we live in an era of more instant gratification, it just is what it is. We have all had our attention spans and expectations remodelled in the past decade or so.
Moyes has always been pragmatic but there is a reason it works for him. We aren’t in danger this season, so largely he’s got the mix of the team right more often than not.

We could have gone all in on Aznou, Rohl, Dibling, Patterson, etc I suppose but my feeling is we’d likely be on a lot fewer points if we had. You could argue with Barry he’s actually been pretty accommodating to some pretty lacklustre performances, so maybe that’s taking up a large part of the playing the kids accommodation in his mind. We can only have so may learning on the job.

Maybe he wants to get to a certain points tally then start playing the younger ones...but it will take a long time with Keane alongside Tark, JOB at RB and McNiel RW, FFS.

There will need to be a common ground between manager and transfer committee otherwise it's surely a parting of ways with the manager.

One would hope they have already agreed upon and identified those targets now.

This is what scares me! Moyes wants PL experience, but name a right back with PL experience who is worth getting and available?

If this is actually what he prefers then we will be massively at a disadvantage in the market.

My head still says we need a RB but looking at this pass map I’m not sure if LB is a bigger priority.

We’re giving Mykolenko way too much of the ball, if we’re going to be doing that then we need a Baines/Digne type

That’s because everyone we play knows he’s shit on the ball, double up on Grealish and leave him as the only open option

A left back is absolutely a priority. We’re literally wasting wages that could be spent on a premier league fullback.

Unless we sell Myko those wages aren't going anywhere

I would prioritise a RB we are playing JOB/Garner out of position to cover that. And if we are selling someone I'd rather Patty was off the wage sheet

That pass map at home against the bottom club makes me want to cry.

Is that not a symptom of our right sided problems? A one(left)-footed, pedestrian out of form RM with a central defender behind him as RB? Everything going right came back left pretty quickly. You can’t really blame Myko for the fact we have no right side at all when we have no Ndiaye (or even Dibling).

Don't want a player with heart problems playing for us.

For his own sake!
