Re: Michael Keane
Can’t argue with the decision, it’s the rules
What does boil my piss is how they are so selective on when to apply the rules
Clearly a red for Walker and two yellows for Martinelli, but nah, we’ll not apply the letter of the law on these cases
Just be fucking consistent or ditch it, not some bullshit where it appears made up on the spot

Re: Michael Keane
I think their argument in the appeal was that it didn't warrant violent conduct, therefore not a three game ban

Agree, was never going to get overturnedShogun wrote:I mean, he was sent off for pulling the lad's hair. He did pull the lad's hair. I'm not sure what the club expected to happen by appealing.

Looks far worse in slow motion, in real time it was barely half a second and did not in the least affect tge players balance.
Re: Michael Keane
Load of bollox he never even said a word until the ref stopped the game…..that’s how “violent” it was…..no one in the ground including the ref and their players saw it….but reffing by camera is the norm now when it suits…..ask martinelli and saka….the pricks actually stated martinelli was not violent play……Keane shuda thrown the ball at him then pushed off the pitch…that’d been fine apparently……

Re: Michael Keane
Yeah I’m not going to argue with the rules or defend what he did.
The three match ban for what happened is excessive.
It’s like with handball penalties. You can argue about intent or natural arm positions, but if it hits the hand, you understand why it was a penalty, even if you think it’s a harsh decision.

If I go up for a header and someone rags my hair, we are fighting.
