He’s been here for four years.

There’s no point in sending him on loan.

Play him or sell him.

That’s where I am with him and the more you see the more the answer is sell now.

Don't know when his contract is up, but the only benefit to loaning if he has time left on the deal would be to try and boost valuation if he does well in another league.

I see more or less the same positives and same weaknesses in his game as when he arrived and four years later and now 24, that shouldn't be. Maybe a change of scenery sparks him but I think his race is run here.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Just me that thought he did pretty well then? Considering how little football he's played over the last 4 years then I though the Forest start and yesterday was pretty positive stuff.

He did alight, but not more effective going forward than O'Brien. An actual RB at RB was supposed to massively improve us going forward but it didn't.

Was more about the balance for me.

Granted Patterson wasn't great going forward but he looked a lot more comfortable being there by virtue that it was and is his natural position.

Jake also looked more comfortable in his preferred CB position. There's something so awkward looking when he's at RB and you can tell it's not natural either.

We need better than Patterson there but for now we need to persist with this regardless as the team are better off for it.

Thats what i mean though, he looked less awkward because hes not a giant, but didn't add anything different. And what we lost was extra height for set pieces and a long throw.

So I can understand why Moyes is persisting, IF garner has to play CM.

I think the biggest argument to use Patterson is so we can drop Keane, who has done well this season, when you compare his other spells in the team, but we still fold easily with him there (spurs, brentford, newcastle) and JOB has more pace.

I won't say I'm entirely convinced, need to see a little more, but he certainly should keep his place and we can see how he gets on.

Maybe as his confidence builds we can see some more attacking output too. Good luck to him.

He's fine, just stick JOB in the middle for the rest of the season

He's shown enough now to convince me that he needs to play there over O'Brien for the rest of the season.
