Loved it. Do feel bad for the Moroccan players, because I don't think they did anything dodgy, but thrilled for our lads and particularly the legend that is Idrissa Gueye with his 134 caps. Sensational player and professional.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Was that the tunnel interview?
I just watched that one and thought the questions were agenda driven, deliberately provoking and generally ridiculous. Was shaking my head and coming on to post about it. Felt sorry for Emery. The standard of football media is just moronic.
Haven't seen the post match interviews though.

Disappointed that Idrissa didn’t get to lift the cup. Should have been him and koulibaly

He’s an absolute gem.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 18, 2026 10:01 pm Loved it. Do feel bad for the Moroccan players, because I don't think they did anything dodgy, but thrilled for our lads and particularly the legend that is Idrissa Gueye with his 134 caps. Sensational player and professional.
Can look back on an absolutely incredible career when it’s over.
36 he is. Never injured, performance levels always incredibly high.
Doesn’t get anywhere near the credit he deserves from the wider football world.

Ok so a missed panenka. A team left the field. Dodgy decisions?Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Sun Jan 18, 2026 10:04 pm It's his last game for them in AFCON so not surprising really
I cant watch this game here, keen for some detail.

No the post match interview. He went really silent at the end and just stopped talking, was quite awkward and odd.Cods wrote: ↑Sun Jan 18, 2026 10:35 pm Was that the tunnel interview?

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Haha yeah.
Senegal disallowed goal for no reason on 94mins. 96 mins Morocco get a contentious penalty.
Cheats! Senegal manager calls players off pitch. Crazy for ten or so mins, mayhem!
Player steps up to take the pen finally when players come back out. But the cunt decides to panenka it.
Madness!!!
