Finally, the Jack Harrison replacement we've been missing.

Can't believe he's going to be spending 6 months in Florence, lucky bastard

Google tells me he's a right winger? Think we're ok for that position

Given the tentative link to Nwaneri a week or so ago I definitely think there's something in this.

If he's homesick and lacking the mental fortitude to battle for his place here then sending him back to Southampton for the rest of the season isn't a bad move.

His record doesn't fill me with excitement I must say.

If we send dibling back to Southampton he might as well stay there for me, match made in hell.

Either man management time, make it work, or fit our losses.

They bought Fellows for the right wing though 🤷‍♂️ are they actually going to be interested in having him back?

Yeah maybe not, although 4 assists and no goals might suggest he's not been very productive and maybe they'd see Dibling as a better option.

Otherwise maybe a loan closer to home even if it's not Southampton themselves?

Not too surprising, but Lukaku wants to stay in Italy until end of the season.

I can't see that. He's got good pace and likes play in behind. Decent scorer but not amazing. Better player than Beto but similar issues re: non-existent hold-up play.

They aren’t getting promoted and probably unlikely to go down, just don’t see what’s in it for them to help develop one of our players for 6 months over somebody they’ve signed permanently

And since Dibling has already played for them this year he can’t go on loan and play anywhere else…

If he's homesick and happy to have to compete with Fellows might just be a good move for him and Southampton get a player who should shine at that level of probably very favourable terms.

Forgot he'd played a game already for them this season so if a loan there isn't on the cards and we sign another RW it's going to be a very tough few months coming up for him.
