Think people every club moaned about. Woeful first touch for such a prolific goal scorer

I agree, so I dunno about the claims of 'studying lukakus game'.

He's just growing into the league. If you couldn't see it before now but you can see it now he's scored a few goals it's on you!*

He said it himself a few weeks back, he’d been watching videos of Lukaku.

Yeah up until then he’d been watching videos of Hibberd, but since switching the tapes we can see a lot of improvement 👍

Watching videos of Lukaku's hold up at Everton would be a bad idea, watching videos of the Lukaku of the last 5 years would be a fantastic idea.

He completely transformed himself into a great back to goal player and bullied defenders

Yeah, watching Lukaku at Everton would mean he’d up as a RW forward of some sort.

To be fair to him that seems like plenty enough to work with
Pretty much agree with you. At times on Monday night, I was a bit frustrated with him but the sign of a good forward is one who may seem not to be playing well but comes alive when he gets a chance and puts it away

He still largely terrible but getting goals and that’s what we pay him for.

Current form "wouldn't be enough to impress me" or words to that effect, from Moyes just now. Needs to do more.

Interesting.

Which is correct, much better recently, but that’s not hard based on his first few months, nowhere near the finished article yet, but he is improving. Also it’s Moyes’ way of squeezing more out of him.

Good management I think. Not lavish with praise, trying to get more out of him and remind him he still needs to improve in some respects. I think Moyes knows what he’s doing here
