Great celebration and an insane booking.

But picking a side with 4 cbs and 4 cms with a near fully fit squad to pick from is equally insane.

He talked about it in the post-match press conference.

He wasn't planning to play Jarrad left back, until Myko's injury on Friday but he went with that option to combat their threat.

And in terms of playing Armstrong where we did, he said he was technically playing wide, but he asked him to tuck in centrally more and that we wanted an extra midfielder to combat Brighton's ability to play centrally through the pitch.

He also stressed that Villa and Everton are the only teams who have won at Brighton in the past year, so it's a very difficult place to come and get a result.

The bullshit “rules are rules” again

If rules are rules then fucking apply them all the time

“only one team official at a time is authorised to convey tactical instructions and may remain standing”

That’s a clear black and white rule. So how do Newcastle get away with breaking that rule every single game??
