Brighton have built and its now open a building called "The Terrace" - various functions fans can buy tickets for, including live beam back of away games - £6, includes a drink and parking - no idea what the capacity is but sells out apparently.

Brighton - "The Terrace"
Re: Brighton - "The Terrace"
How do they get around the Saturday 3pm blackout rules? Surely everyone would do this if it was possible?chang wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 7:12 pm Brighton have built and its now open a building called "The Terrace" - various functions fans can buy tickets for, including live beam back of away games - £6, includes a drink and parking - no idea what the capacity is but sells out apparently.

Re: Brighton - "The Terrace"
I see they're making a bit of a thing about Milner equaling the most PL appearances. Fair enough, he's had a long and successful career but his numbers are a way off most of the other players to play so many games. He'll equal Barry but he's 14k minutes behind him and 183 starts less, he's been a sub a lot of his career and Brighton are fudging the numbers a bit by giving him 5 and 10 minutes here and there. Good player but isn't up there with Barry, Lampard, Giggs, Speed etc, they all still regularly started games well towards the end of their careers.

Surprising of the Beeb to go with that picture as the headline...
The fact David James was subbed on once in his career and it wasn't even to play in goal is funny

Re: Brighton - "The Terrace"
He’s spent the last ten years of his career being a squad player.
Fair enough, he’s had a brilliant career but Gareth Barry is the true holder of the record.
Was running games in his sleep at 36.

Re: Brighton - "The Terrace"
He's played 1000 minutes in a season once since 19/20 and that was 1061 in 20/21, then it goes 850, 893, 778, 173 and 309.
Gareth Barry played 1,927 in his final season!
Prior that Barry was always 2-3k minutes and even a handful of seasons in the 3k. He probably doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

Re: Brighton - "The Terrace"
Giggs had 40 odd top flight appearances prior to the PL existing too so that's another anomaly really.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
