Get in! Couldn’t believe it when I checked the final result! I’d been listening to Dungeon Crawler Carl instead of the footy but I never expected us to turn it around at the Cottage!Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 3:25 pm Sorry folks. I turned on Gillette Soccer Saturday or whatever on Sky. 4 mins later they score.
That’s it. I’m out!

He hasn’t so far unless forced to, think the result makes it unlikely. Feels we could be so much better with a bit more balance.Irishbornevertonian wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 7:27 pm Let’s hope though that Moyes will take notice of that first half. Can’t keep relying on coming back in the second half of games

Re: Fulham v Everton
That first half was dire wasn’t it.
So porous out wide and centrally.
Midfield weak and completely unadventurous, and the defence looked like one that would get you relegated.
Not sure what tweaks changed it for us, but we were more solid after the break, and I felt George made a big difference just by being an actual winger that they had to pay attention to.
Ndiaye looks like he’s really missing Grealish, and Gana seems proper sluggish since afcon.
KDH is a good player, man, I really like him.

I guess moyes “tweaked it” by putting mykolenko back in and Armstrong out wide because of the first half showing against Leeds….well it was even worse this first half…they battered us down our right and through the middle…tarks and Keane just doesn’t seem to work now for me……Gana pushed on to much which basically left garner as our only holding midfielder!! On many occasions 2 passes by them left our whole midfield out of the game and exposed our 2 central defenders….
The second half changes once again turned it around for us…so come on Moyesy stop tweaking….put your strongest 11 out there and let’s settle the team down from start to finish….

Re: Fulham v Everton
It was dire and a combination of wasteful finishing from Fulham and good saves from Pickford kept the damage down. I suppose that was the turning point, Fulham should have gone in with a decisive leadsam of the south wrote:That first half was dire wasn’t it.

Re: Fulham v Everton
Fulham were also good first half. Got the 3rd best home record in the entire league. There's 2 teams in every game and sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition. It's not always down to your own failings. Other teams are allowed to play well.
They've beat Chelsea, Sunderland, Leeds, Brentford at home this season. Drew 2-2 with Liverpool. Pushed City all the way in a 4-5 defeat. It's a fantastic win for us and an excellent 2nd half to dominate the key part of the game.
