He wasn't wrong though was he.

Hasn't been great, but I think we're seeing the absence of Grealish. Ndiaye was being asked to do everything creative and we need some better balance.

Similarly, I think we maybe could've eased Gueye back in a little too. Especially given how well we did at Villa with Garner/Armstrong/Rohl.

Yeah, Ndiaye was overused today with little options, and Gana seemed proper sluggish.

He's way too deep. Almost getting to Dyche levels use of him. Get him up the pitch. It's great he contributed so much defensively but with a CB at fullback and his quality then he doesn't have to be that selfless.

I dont think Branthwaite made any overlaps for him, which was probably the directive, but really how harshly can we judge our wingers when they have zero pass or movement from any of our fullbacks all season to give them space to run in to?

Big 2nd half change last 2 games was KDH playing up the pitch. Huge difference both games and gives wingers and Barry someone to play with. First half he was picking the ball up of Tarks from 5 yards, which Garner or Gana can do all day long. Totally wastes him.

Yeah it’s a different game these days, players are far less individuals and the relationships on the pitch are critical to doing their roles well.

1 goal 1 assist in his last 10 prem appearances.

I want more. Why aren’t I seeing this guy in the box? Why aren’t I seeing this guy getting shots off?

He doesn’t have Grealish taking all of the defensive attention off of him.

He has no fb overlapping him.

He is our only creative threat.

He also looks a bit tired since afcon.

Think hes been quite poor since his return. Not always following his defender, lots of wrong decisions

His season definitely peaked with winning the AfCoN.

After tonight just give him a week off to recharge and go again.

Big season so far for him, lots of travelling, games, pressure. Looks off it at the minute.

Get him fresh for the final push for a European place and tell him to get amongst the goals again.

Honestly it’s not necessarily a bad thing as if he smashed it right now he’d be knocking on the door for a big contract or his agent would have him leaving in the summer - we’re vastly underpaying him at the minute
