Thierno Barry
Re: Thierno Barry
Didn’t score today.
Think it’s time to buy a dogshit striker from the Turkish league to take some of his minutes.

Happy with that, keep going under the radar and unnoticed by the money bags clubs further up the tableTrowel wrote:(didn't make the Premier League's 8 man shortlist... )

Re: Thierno Barry
Can sort of understand the first miss given it was his weaker foot and came at him fast. The second though he was just so fucking casual and that gave the defender the split second needed to block it.
Very infuriating and he's been pretty crap the last few games.
I know Beto is equally as bad but I'd be surprised if we see Barry starting any of the next few games.

Re: Thierno Barry
It's a shame, looked like he was building up a bit of momentum but games like that make it feel a bit like we've gone back a step to earlier in the season.
Maybe that's what you need to expect from a young striker. Can imagine though if he doesn't get on another decent run before the end of the season, Moyes will look to bring someone in who might push his minutes down more than Beto is currently doing.

Re: Thierno Barry
Needs to get his head up a bit, thought it was a bit pathetic still sitting with his head in his shirt about ten minutes after he came off, he had a bad game but all players do, sitting sulking about it isn't helping anyone.
Unfortunately we've two strikers who's confidence goes up and down like a yoyo, when they score they're on top of the world, then one poor game and their heads go up their arse again.

Re: Thierno Barry
The 2nd miss was such a bad 1. Think ultimately neither are remotely good enough. They contribute so little in general play
We need a new striker. We are already starting to replace the players we signed last summer

Second miss was a bad one and ultimately, was the turning point. Thereafter, they took charge

Plays like a 16 yr old. Ambles around, gets pushed off the ball easily and when things don't go his way looks like he's about to cry.
I have some sympathy with the manager when he sees performances like that. If there is one area of the pitch we need someone with a bit of experience and mental toughness it is up top. It's a thankless job these days and you need to be showing more than he does, especially when you get chances and you can't sort your feet out or are already thinking of your celebration before you've even scored.

Id like Evan ferguson still. Gone completely off the boil but his talent is lightyears ahead of our 2 strikers

I can't believe we never looked at Rayan at any point, I even knew about him and I know fuck all.
Looks like an Adriano regen other than not looking like him.
