Sounds like Mary Earp's autobiography's gone down like a fart on a lift with some people. I don't think she's covered herself in glory these last few months, clearly spat the dummy when she was told she was no longer number one and showed she obviously isn't a team player and has now come in for a bit of flack from comments about Hannah Hampton. Maybe it was more who was replacing her as number 1 rather than it being taken off her but even her reaction to the criticism suggests she's "all about me".
It'll probably be worth the flack when the money starts coming in from sales though.

When's Eni Aluko going to accept that maybe it's not Ian Wright's fault or anyone else's that she's being overlooked for jobs and more the fact that she's a massive twat. She's really not helping herself reopening this battle with Wright. Not a fan of Simon Jordan but he told her to her face that she had a massive sense of entitlement.

Re: Women's footy
I don't like her at all, I think she's problematic. But I do feel a bit uncomfortable at the talk sport stuff the other day.
Can someone close to her not just say, stop.
She's out her depth, she's upset, she feels ganged up on and all that. And going on these shows and discussing it more and more and getting muddled up with what she's said, what someone else has said etc, it's just not nice to watch.
She has her opinion on it, and I disagree entirety with her views but she isn't going to change what she thinks so everyone should leave it and not engage it

I think it's her that's brought it back up though isn't it? I don't know if it was on the socials or a podcast but she seems to be the one dragging it all back up again? Once she does that and decides to go on talk shows she needs to accept she's probably going to get a hard time. I don't think she's reading room, Ian Wright is a very popular person both in mens and women's football, she isn't and she's just coming across as arrogant. You're right though, someone close to her needs to have a word as she's committing career suicide and being seen as a trouble maker.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 12:36 pm I don't like her at all, I think she's problematic. Re: Women's footy
Shes incredibly unlikeable. Like Lineker she speaks out a lot but the difference being he seems to be speaking out for others while she is all about what shes not getting, what she deserves and what a fantastic broadcaster she is. Not sure why she thinks Ian Wright owes her so much
Shes got a chip on both her shoulders, I dont particularly enjoy her work and shes neither, for me, informative or fun
Agree the whole thing has got incredibly uncomfortable now. Doing a tour and having people tell her shes shit serves no one.

Re: Women's footy
Thats what i mean, someone needs to just tell her to stop talking about it, leave it. Why would she bring it up again and then go on these shows and just not know how to manage the situation. its just uncomfortable and i really dislike her but i dont like seeing her so out of her depth with it all.Gash wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 1:03 pm I think it's her that's brought it back up though isn't it?
