Must admit I had these down for a relegation fight this season and probably going back down. I still wouldn't back it but Wrexham managed by Phil Parkinson in the Premier League might actually be a thing next season.

Bookies had these about spot on. Upper midtable with a shout at sneaking in the play offs in the pre season betting.

Apparently they are now valued at half a billion pounds. That seems crazy. Are they making a lot of money

That's insane. Knighthead bought a controling share (51%) of Birmingham City for £35m in 2023, valuing the club at approximately £70m

Even allowing for inflation, there is no way on this earth, Wrexham are worth multiples of what Birmingham are.

Surely welcome to Wrexham dies if they dont get to the premier league. Theres nothing to watch if they stagnate

Enjoyed the story at the beginning but really they've been man city on steroids at them lower levels

great to see wrexham doing well - if they stay comfortable in the championship and stay in the league this season thats progress for me
a shot at the play offs fantastic
i hope wrexham go up - it would be great
its also brilliant for the area of north wales and for the publicity and business it would generate

I thought they'd struggle more than they have. Draws will be their downfall though, in terms of that promotion push. 12 or so I think they have so far? Parkinson doing a very good job. Yes he's been given war chest after war chest, but to continuously keep them winning and pushing onwards whilst revamping the squad is impressive. They look a better footballing side this year too (the level of players helps of course). They are still direct (a constant criticism of Parkinson), but it is noticeably less so, with some decent stuff being played on the deck.
