Selecting McNeil ahead of George, dropping Barry for Beto, Dibling and Röhl getting no minutes now, and Aznou not even making the squad absolutely underlines that Moyes is at odds with the transfer committee.
It’s a shame, but almost inevitable, as it never looked likely to be plain sailing.

Why didn't we try something like that corner, with the 10 we got against Utd?? Instead of trying to pack the whole team in the 6 yard box like a bunch of neanderthals?

Branthwaite instead of Keane gives us a lot more assurance with pace back there, and even though it’s McNeil getting the nod, it underlines that having actual wingers playing on the wing gives a team better balance.

Wasted time, allowed Utd to bully us, totally ineffective.
