Re: Everton v Burnley
They were really unlucky against Brentford yesterday, had tge ball in the net five times with two goals disallowed, one offside ruled 1cm offside.
Re: Everton v Burnley
They also conceded 4 goals and are 19th in the league.
Anything but a win here is another abject failure at home, Moyes needs to sort his shit out at Bramley-Moore.
Re: Everton v Burnley
If it's an unchanged team then I'll tear my hair out. Newcastle A is a very different proposition to Burnley H.
McNeil out and George in has to be the first change.
Barry for Beto because Burnley won't allow any space in behind which renders Beto useless.
Patterson should be starting but not going to happen.

They were very unlucky against Brentford, that true and that’s all I said, don’t suggest I was saying anything else.
Re: Everton v Burnley
Patterson won’t start and why should he ? Same back four as yesterday, what was the problem with that, did the job didn’t they ?Shogun wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2026 9:26 pm If it's an unchanged team then I'll tear my hair out. Newcastle A is a very different proposition to Burnley H.

Re: Everton v Burnley
Because you have to break down a Burnley side that will set up to defend and concede possession. We won't have as little as 34% of the ball Tuesday like we did at the weekend. That's why we've struggled at home all season because Moyes keeps selecting players who don't know what to do on the ball in the full back positions.

..and Patterson has proven he does ? O.k then.Shogun wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2026 9:38 pm Because you have to break down a Burnley side that will set up to defend and concede possession. This is where Moyes gets himself into trouble.Shogun wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2026 9:26 pm If it's an unchanged team then I'll tear my hair out. Newcastle A is a very different proposition to Burnley H.

He’s always one to reward good performances and good work in training over who’s actually the best profile for our opponent.
I’m all for being fair but I can’t stand to watch the ball rocket off Beto’s shins as he gets squeezed from both sides by a CB and a DM. Instant counterattack starter for the opposition too.
