I really like that alongside loving a battle with opposing midfielders I like to try and move the ball up the pitch.

Absolutely 100% should be starting every game next season in place of Gana. His ball recoveries and ball winning is elite, but the rest of his game is catching up quickly, including his positional discipline.

Don't think anyone saw this coming after Newcastle but it seems to have massively spurred him on to heights previously seemed inconceivable.

Because next season Gana is both 37 and out of contract.

Tim is the future and developing really well whilst already possessing elite level parts to his game.

Eventually you have to move on despite how well a player has served the club, especially when you have a player with huge potential waiting to play and kick on to new levels.

He's been a bit hit and miss since coming back to be fair, it's not a bad thing to plan for his inevitable decline.
