Yeah, he didn’t get a great reception at all.

Beyond pathetic. Needs to be supported now.

I noticed the boos. Very unnecessary and poor form all round.

I don’t agree with Barry’s comments online but good grief just move on and let the lad play football.

Can't believe he got booed but also maybe a bit of wake up call for him?

Biggest wake up call should be that we are in March and he's lost his place to Beto

Thought there were a couple of times in the game where he was a very easy ball to play in on goal and he wasn’t used. KDH being one and another I can’t recall.

Could have been put through for a 1v1 twice and was ignored is not a good look.

The booing was too much imo. I get he blamed the fans for what happened and it was daft from him but yeah, just can't really get behind booing your own player unless it's Maupay

I’ve booed some players myself.

I think if a player is purposely phoning it in it’s fine to boo them and we’ve had a few of those situations over the years.

Booing Barry though is dumb. What he did and said wasn’t even that bad.

He didn't blame the fans though which is why I don't understand it.

He blamed the people who assaulted his friends, and that's ok surely?

Why would those who did nothing be upset by that?

It'll be kids who booed him, the same group that go away every other week on the piss and generally have a bit of aggro in a different city.

It'll die off if he starts scoring again.

It was a lot of boos, wasn't just kids IMHO.

I don't think it was a big deal really, KDH one seemed like he just wanted to take the shot on himself likely because it's Chelsea and he had a point to prove. Plus at that point the game was all but done.

Too small a sample size really to tell much anyhow.
