Today's Football 2025-26
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Yeah they've definitely go to go vibes now. I don't think Dyche would keep them up with that he brings. Redknapp might have to put the jungle on hold.

Sort of amazing that Spurs still haven't actually spent a day in the bottom 3 yet.
Maybe that's why the board have acted like they have too.

Arsenal vs Man City...?
Arsenal favourites on current form? Man City just seem to have a mistake in them. Maybe Arsenal bottle it though?

Redknapp is garbage tactically but at least he’ll figure out the best eleven players they have and send them out there to run around a bit.
The only other defensible play is promoting their U21 manager and a couple of players to kick some of the bad eggs out of the first team squad but I checked his CV and that would be a death sentence, even more so than Tudor.

It’s so hard to say. Can’t really rely on either of them for anything.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 4:20 pm Arsenal vs Man City...?

I’m astonished at how poor Pep’s feel for his squad has been the past two seasons. I never thought I’d see the day but it seems like he’s lost the plot a bit.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Not sure spurs have many good eggs. Think its probably a little on the lines of what we had when we blew moshiris initial spend. Players who were promised more who arent good enough but dont want to fight for a team down the wrong end of the table
Think it will be an interesting summer if they go. Spurs have money. Not sure theres many at spurs id want and certainly not at the prices spurs would want. Seem both centre backs talked about at 80 or 90m. That doesn't stack up to how they perform

Arsenal have been crap against the better teams in the league but they'll probably win here. It's been that sort of season for them and Donnarumma to Trafford is quite the downgrade with how many big chances City can give up.
Always a chance Man City turn up at their best though and Haaland/Cherki/Semenyo do their thing.

Fortunately, we never lost our backbone.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 4:29 pm Not sure spurs have many good eggs. DCL, Richarlison, Doucoure, Gana, Coleman, maybe some others I’m forgetting.
Keep enough of them around and you can stop the bottom from falling out completely even if the rest of the squad is populated with overhyped players picking up a paycheck.
Spurs are almost completely devoid of that, I couldn’t even tell you who their captain is. Archie Gray seems to be one of the only ones who their supporters think is worth anything and he’s a teenager who hasn’t really found his feet at this level yet.
Edit: Apparently, Archie turned 20 last week but my point stands.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Would be peak comedy to pair this group of players and their overinflated perceptions of themselves with someone industrial like Big Sam or Dyche.
Realistically, they are doing what Ram suggested and going for vibes while praying that talent carries them over the line.

Yeah you look through their team and you dont really know who many of them are. Lot of them have been hyped up and never really done anythingkramer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2026 4:38 pm Fortunately, we never lost our backbone.

Think romero is their captain. World Cup winner but Argentina were soft at the world cup. Tried to throw most games away Saudi, Australia, Holland and France. Collapsed in them all to make it interesting
I dont see anyone in that team id particularly want. Gray for his potential, maybe Spence but that's more down to us not having anything at fullback. After that though not much.
They look dead despite still not being in the relegation zone
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Genuinely shocked being honest how badly that spurs game actually went.
Thought I'd see even a small glimmer of fight but they've fully checked out haven't they?

It's Conor Gallagher who should be ashamed imo
Not entirely sure why, just feel like he should be ashamed.
