Re: The fall of Spurs
Doubt they go down but questionable characters and a few who are not nearly as good as it would seem.
I dont think it can be overstated how a few of the players in our team are of strong character and pushed that into the team when we were in it (Coleman, Richarlison, Gana, Pickford) instilled a level of fight that coupled with the supporters willingness to fight dragged us over the line.
They are in trouble though and I think Tudor was the wrong appointment. Short term, players know he isn't staying, no PL experience.

Clearly confident they’ll beat Forest, booking Vicario in for a hernia op after the game although he’s been managing it for a while and could get to the end of the season

Edit: sorry BBC headline said Vicario was out for Sunday, but the article said he'll play against Forest.

Goal scorers make such a difference to teams. They were lucky to have and keep Son and Kane for as long as they did.

Re: The fall of Spurs
This is a club who during most of the Moshiri years I looked at with genuine envy and thought “we were on par with these and they’re now regular top 5 contenders while we are slipping backwards”.
It now feels mad that we are 16pts above them in the table with that gap likely to increase by the end of the season

Tudor has to go now surely?
Not that I think it matters, getting some Spurs legends who hasn't managed in the premier league for 20+ years is pretty much also guaranteed to end in relegation

Re: The fall of Spurs
No wins in 10 PL matches. 3 draws and 7 losses. By far the worst form in the league.
I still think if Im betting then it's west ham to go down but Spurs look so bad and that was at least a must not lose match at home to a relegation rival and they lost 0-3, got one yellow card, and looked disjointed and disinterested.
Fans leaving when 2-0 down with 20 minutes to go.
They look like they dont have the fight required but you never know. One fluke win and suddenly could have their tails up and some confidence. Certainly have more than enough talent to avoid the drop.
Does also look like one of those years where you'll need close to 40 points which we haven't seen in awhile.

Re: The fall of Spurs
They've got plenty of winnable games left that with a bit of organisation they should get enough to stop up but if they play as badly as they did today, they won't be doing anything.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Re: The fall of Spurs
I'm surprised Tudor is still there. I don't really get what they're doing at the moment.
It seems they're trying to convince De Zerbi to join them now but they don't actually want to do that because they want Pochettino next season. Do they not understand that they need a manager for the next two months, not the next two years?
Whether it be a 'firefighter' like Dyche or a vibes manager like Redknapp or for more modern purposes Robbie Keane then that's who they should be appointing ASAP at the moment.
Reeks of a club that are going to go down.
