France didn't get an extra place last year when PSG won, so I think Arsenal winning it would be irrelevant.
I think because 5th is an extra co-efficient place awarded then that's why it would knock down to 6th if Villa ended up their and won the EL.
The race for... Europe?
Re: The race for... Europe?
Hard to see Villa dropping to 5th with the teams behind them currently though.
Re: The race for... Europe?
I was sure they changed it (after Villarreal) so that winning the CL didn't grant an extra place.
But, taking it in a tangent: how closely do we need to start paying attention to what Roma do?
Currently sitting in the conference place in Serie A...

Hadn't even thought about the multi-club issue. Apparently, we have a super secret plan...?

Re: The race for... Europe?
Seemingly possible! But specifically needs Liverpool to win the CL and finish 5th and Villa to win the Europa and finish 6th
Arsenal winning the CL won’t give an extra space as they’ll be in top 4 already

Just deal with what we can control and what will be will be.
Two wins in the next two games and we are in the box seat for any eventuality.
