Been saying it all along, they also need to take the titles off them too. I don't care if some go to the shite.

History will remember them as winners, so taking the titles is the only true punishment.

Already set a precedent with Chelsea, they won’t be stripping any titles or trophies for historic cheating

If it can happen in Italy to juventus who pretty much controlled Italian football at that time it can happen here.

I don’t think it will, but I do think the punishment will be severe as if it isn’t the league loses all integrity.

That was my first thought too when I read that. I’d not be surprised if there were a few motivated Spurs fans in the FA corridors of power.

I think the whole process has been a joke and I still don't understand the offences any better than I understood ours or what was permissible spending and what wasn't but I do think whatever punishment they get, if it comes in terms of points deductions, should come close season and apply to the future season. Moving the goalposts this late in the day as was done with us and with Forest does make a potential mockery of the action on the pitch with teams not knowing where they stand until the last knockings of the season.

It's a precedent we want to get away from, and if we are going to have these immensely complicated rules going forward, the timescales for judgements need to be drastically shortened. These charges were brought years ago and relate to many years before that. It is farcical.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
