We know they’re going to cynically play the man in every 50/50, we need to be prepared to cope and not lose all of those because they have nothing about them except winning the ball, pinging a handful of quick passes, and being in.

Gotta have some pace in the backline too.
We need to play on the break as much as possible in this game, and be happy with dropping deeper when we lose the ball rather than pressing high.

They don't really want the ball other than set pieces and counterattacks, don't play into their hands.

A win here would be massibe and we would very much seem like we're on for europe

Is it just me or do we always seem to struggle the first game back after a break?

Really hope we can find a way to click back in to the gear we were in prior to this extended break 🤞

Sounds like we’ll have to out-Everton them!

Both teams standing in their own half, the ball sat lonely in the centre circle as nobody wants it…

I am excited about the run in, and it starts here!

We have a brilliant away record and no reason to believe we can’t get a win here.

We have a great chance of European football and a small chance of the CL. Just have to make these 7 games count and go for it.

They have not won since Burnley should have beaten them in February. We can do this.

They'd still only lost 3 at home this season though

So them having poor home form and us having poor form against the teams around us should even out to a draw.

I'd prefer a win obviously, but I'd take it.

Not just then. When we get a chance to move up, we seem to bottle it. We can go level with them if we win this. I know their playing too, but it would make the derby a proper game. It'll be interesting what happens today
