25-26 Relegation Thread
Re: 25-26 Relegation Thread
I wonder if any Spurs fan thought that after sacking Frank up to this point they would only muster up 1 single solitary point. Even more so that point coming away at Anfield.
They haven't won a league game in 2026. We're in mid April.
They're cooked I reckon.

Their run simply has to turn at some point and they probably do beat Wolves but they brought this on themselves. Frank wasn't doing a good enough job but I didn't think it possible they would go down under him. The Tudor appointment looked a bad one at the time but was not even as good as that and they have landed themselves right in the shit. It's also not like any of the other three suddenly look like falling off a cliff and losing all their games to really help them out either.
Would be delighted to relegate Spurs last day.

In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Spurs have Brighton and villa next.
Unless there’s huge improvement it could be all but done after those games.

Looking at the last 4 fixtures for Forest, WHU and Spurs, it could be carnage all round so, the next two games are vital. Spurs have to at a minimum beat Wolves or they are gone.
Re: 25-26 Relegation Thread
Wolves thrown in the middle of that which becomes irrelevant if they lose both those games.
Re: 25-26 Relegation Thread
They're going down. When the team you're most likely looking at getting ahead are putting up Europe qualification form then you're in trouble, when you can't keep up with Burnley and Wolves then you're fucked.

As dead as they look, one win still has the potential to turn the thing around, even now.
I thought they looked a little bit better at the weekend, but didn't do enough going forward.
I don't think it'll be over for a while yet.

Have been convinced for a while now that their survival will hinge on their beating us last game of the season and some dodgyBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2026 9:47 am As dead as they look, one win still has the potential to turn the thing around, even now.

decisions will go their way.
Re: 25-26 Relegation Thread
I think they'll stay up against us on the last day. I know form shows they won't pick up points and they look down and out, but football is rarely predictable and I'm convinced they'll pick up more points than people are generally predicting.
I think it will go down to the wire between Forest, West Ham and Spurs, but they will find it when they need it most.
I hope I'm wrong though as I'd absolutely revel in them being relegated, especially as three of my close mates are fans.

Feels like 39 pts might be it. If I trusted West Ham and Forest to get 7pts and 6pts from their upcoming games I'd sway more to thinking Spurs were definitely toast. I'm not quite there yet though. The lower the final points total needed, the better it would be for Spurs' chances.
Forest potentially have EL to contend with can impact PL performance too, so that might be a wrinkle in all this. You'd imagine they could get 3 pts against Burnley which would put them on 36pts, if they don't then they'd really be in the mix. After that they have Sunderland (a) which is a tough one, Chelsea (a) who can be hit and miss but you'd probably still fancy Chelsea in that, Newcastle (h) this is probably the one they'd look at to get another 3pts then they have Man Utd (a) and Bournemouth (h) both potentially fighting for Europe. So it feels like Forest have a narrow path to 39pts to me.
Again for now assuming 39pts is the goal, West Ham probably need to win next week away at Palace (who as the form shows are actually doing ok again now so not easy but doable), probably get something in the game against us or maybe get a couple of points away from home at Brentford and Newcastle then win the last game against Leeds. Still doesn't feel like a stroll to me and could see it going to that last game potentially.
Spurs have a big next couple of games coming up. If they could get a win against Brighton and/or Wolves then it would absolutely go to the final day I think, how likely that is I'm not at all sure. They did look mildly better against Sunderland but Sunderland still looked like they wanted it more, which would be a concern for Spurs' fans you'd think and the longer it goes without them getting any traction with the new manager the harder it gets. They apparently have Maddison perhaps ready for end of April I think I heard so maybe that helps them to create a bit more. If they're targeting 39 pts though, I have to think they're looking at their 3 home games vs Brighton, Leeds and us and that away game against Wolves as the main ones.
