The midfield was on its arse by the end. I don’t know why Moyes didn’t bring on a CM in the final quarter to shore things up
Re: Everton v Liverpool
Yeah I’m feeling bad today like.
Thoughts with all of you honestly. I am very mopey today and I’m not even that arsed about it all anymore so how anyone who still truly loves the game feels I do not know.

The late winner relaxed me for the rest of the evening bizarrely. Couldn't even get angry, just had to laugh as it felt like a very typical Everton ending which I had unfortunately felt 1000 times before so went in the garden and got on with some chores.

@weimaranerblues
Hi, do you go the games?
How do you have the score so immediately?
Also, tiny request. Please can you wait a few mins before posting that there has been a goal? It makes being in the matchday thread really rubbish because (during aways for me) when im watching on TV, and want to chat on here, you tell us all the goals before most have us have even got to that point

Re: Everton v Liverpool
This is why I only go on at half time or when a goal has been scored... Not because of any one poster, but I've found out about important goals in the relegation seasons before they happened on my stream and it ruined the moment.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2026 1:05 pm @weimaranerblues

Fair point but I'm not that far ahead , some one else will just
post, as was the case

I'll happily stop posting when the goals happen if it's spoiling everyone's game, but if your reading the match day thread and goal goes , should everyone stop ...
@Shogun
How do I setup up a poll , Should I stop posting goal updates Yes/No .
I'll go with the majority call.
Re: Everton v Liverpool
It's probably a wee bit different for a game on Sky/TNT like yesterday which "should" be running the same for everyone (I definitely got the goal on TV after it was posted in here for some reason) but when people are watching on streams they can often run 30-60 seconds behind the "live" action so someone can be innocently commenting on or reading the matchday thread and then see someone post that we've scored, it just kind of takes the edge of it a bit when you know what's coming.weimaranerblues wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2026 3:06 pm Fair point but I'm not that far ahead , some one else will just

I don't think we need polls or anything like that, maybe we should just all be a bit more mindful when posting and enjoy the moment rather than thinking "I better get this posted on NSNO", it's not like people won't find out eventually.

Re: Everton v Liverpool
You are definitely very very immediate and a few people have noticed you are there the second it goes in.
I know it's not purposeful but waiting a minute would mean everyone's stream has caught up!!

Re: Everton v Liverpool
When Everton lose I often just avoid football totally for a few days. I tried contributing to a couple of threads earlier but gave up, just couldn't be arsed. I'm just going to mentally move on to the next game and come up smilimg on Thursday sometime when the enthusiasm returns.
