28 points at the half way stage.
Replicate that 2nd half and 56 points MIGHT get us Europe, who knows.
I said at the beginning we should be aiming for around 55 points for steady improvement.
More than achievable now.
What are you expecting from 2025/26
Re: What are you expecting from 2025/26
On the pitch it’s been a fantastic year.
Our away from especially has been massively improved.
Solid midtable but with the potential to be better than that I think.
Can’t fault moyes at all in the job he’s done.

Nailed it.
Feel like I didn't ask for much there and we were still miles off it.Shogun wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 7:31 pm I only really have 3 expectations:
- Go unbeaten in at least 14/19 home games whilst winning the majority of those 14. I am so fed up of us being an easy touch at home, especially when it's not like the 'top teams' are anywhere near as intimidating as they used to be. We played 1st to 3rd last season in consecutive matches and none of them were anything special.
Home form shit. 11/19 unbeaten and only winning 6 of those.
- Play on the front foot at home. Follows on from above, I'm not going to cope with another season of watching us scrape a draw against what seems like the Fulham globetrotters. It's one thing to watch City play football against us for 90 minutes but it's another thing when it's West Ham.
Nope, didn't do this. Football has been largely crap.
- Respectable cup losses. I can handle us going out of the cup because realistically there are better teams than us and some ties are unrealistic to expect a win but when it's Bournemouth at home, Southampton at home, Fulham at home and Luton at home... Fuck off.
Bottom of the league Wolves and then Sunderland at home. Both early. Another fail
I do have faith in Moyes to (mostly) achieve these things. Where we finish in the table, hard to be optimistic given our lack of business so far this summer.
Don't know why I had faith

Well... I can still stand by this. Thank you Everton for not embarrasing me by overachieving.Matt1878 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 22, 2025 10:55 pm Mid-table, a season of stability and growth. Finding our feet at BMD after a slow start. Bedding in 2 or 3 new genuinely quality players to start building some depth and having several clear areas to improve on in the next transfer window to start challenging for Europe again. Very much evolution over revolution for me next year. I hope they give Moyes a transitional season.
