Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
On the fence about Diouf. I can’t tell if he’s crap or not but not totally against a reasonable fee as Mykolenko is there. He has some really good attributes like he’s tall, strong, fast, decent touch and passing as far as I can tell but could be a complete empty head who just runs around a lot. He’s also young and can cover LW if we have injuries/ seeing out a game when the 1st choice needs a rest.

As usual it's for general discussion on all things transfers but if there is a credible link/rumour to a player or if you just fancy a separate thread then start one rather than dump it in here, if it doesn't come off the thread will harmlessly drift down on to page 2. Rather that than having several different discussions going on at once, there's nothing worse than trying to catch up with what's been happening and having trawl through 10 pages off guff to get to anything of substance.

The Athletic say we're due £3.8m + £3m solidarity from Gordon's sale, decent.

If we are going after Jesus, we'll need to find someone to supply the crosses.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
“When a professional player moves internationally before the end of their contract, FIFA rules dictate that 5% of the transfer fee is deducted and distributed to all clubs that trained the player between the ages of 12 and 23”
Re: Summer Transfer Window 2026
We get 15% of any profit that Newcastle make, written into the transfer contract from us to them, never heard of a solidarity clause ?777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2026 9:42 am Im not 100% but don't you get a small percentage of following transfers for being thr club that originally developed him?

The club will see the righback situation as a critical priority now, seeing as they've neglected that area for best part of 3 to 4 seasons.Cozzie wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2026 11:56 am Possibly.
Surely one of the biggest most obvious flaws was seeing how obvious it was that we needed a decent LB to partner Grealish, to get more out of him in general.
Doesn't look like Moyes fancies Aznou, at least not yet.
Be all over Diouf though, young with plenty of scope to improve.
I'll be surprised if they don't muddle through with Myko again.
I like Diouf as well, whether he a) wants to play for a manager like Moyes b) he might be looking for a move to a club in a european competition.
