Re: Iliman Ndiaye
If we can sell at say 60m, it would have been a very successful transfer. Would be more than happy with that.
Very good player and really like him but never going to be double figures for both G + A for us. Good time to cash in, if the money is right.

If he goes and Grealish stays at City it’s a shame with hindsight that George and Dibling weren’t given more playing time
Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Should have sorted a contract out at the end of last season, and certainly before we brought in Grealish on mega bucks.
He’ll know his worth and know he can get a much better deal elsewhere now.
Pay him big money, with a clause that comprises us, or lose him this summer I think.

Depends if we’d be happy in letting Moyes spend most of the fee on getting Bowen in instead…Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2026 4:23 pm If we can sell at say 60m, it would have been a very successful transfer. Would be more than happy with that.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
He's got a contract for another 3 years, not sure what the panic is about. His value won't deteriorate much in 12 months. It's at that point we'll need to make a decision on his future.
Re: Iliman Ndiaye
I think it’s more, by rejecting several contract offers it appears he has made a decision about his own future.
Re: Iliman Ndiaye
So? Did we think he'd be here 5 years? His value won't go down (much) in 12 months even with an average season. 3 years left on his contract. We hold all the cards. Unless he wants to pull an Isak or Wissa but I don't think he's that sort of character and according to the article he hasn't asked to leave.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Yeah, 3 years is a solid amount of time remaining on the deal. Both sides have decent negotiating power at the moment, barring him really throwing his toys out of the pram and even then I doubt we'd be over the barrel to let him go cheaply.
Right now if I was to guess, I'd probably ever so slightly lean with him going this summer based on vibes...but weirdly I'd also not be too surprised with a new deal announcement and a behind the scenes handshake to leave the following year.
