Even if we appeal it will just be deducted, won’t it?

Imagine other teams will be getting a case in now as well.

Meanwhile at Manchester City

Yeah I've never understood how we can be punished by the ruling body and then also legally.

The case comes from the fact the Premier League failed to apply any sanctions during that season, and if they had then we'd have been relegated instead of Burnley.

But how that's our fault, or how there's even any legal jurisdiction for a case against us absolutely baffles me.

We broke the rules of a privately owned sporting competition, the governing body punished us... That should have been the end of it.

I could see a legal case against the Premier League potentially due to them not applying their own rules in a correct timeframe, this costing Burnley vast amounts of income. Us however? Makes literally no sense to me.

Could we not just give Keane, McNeil and Tarkowski back?

Surely we should be compensated in fact.

I really don't understand how this can be a thing.

Their case seems to be had the points been deducted earlier they'd have stayed up instead but what happens if the opposite had been true, who would we have sued if wed of stayed up regardless that season and been relegated the next season because of the late deduction

Ultimately we got punished 2 seasons for 1 breach. 1 season we paid compensation and the following we lost points and prize money too

I genuinely dont get the logic of it. If anyone's at fault its the premier league but how then does that mean we are punished twice?

Surely its either everyone who were affected get compensation or everyone benefits from our points deduction the following season. Had it dragged on another year would it have been 2 years of compensation and a points deduction

Had we gone down instead of burnley that year they'd still be a points deduction waiting for us when we got back up

It's hard to care anymore isn't it.

It's beyond bonkers.

We where punished and we rightfully didn't get punished that season because there where rules to say we didn't have to produce our books.

Anyway, as has been said, the games dead, it's lopsided.

Let’s get on with suing PGMOL for those lost points from their shit decisions

We’ve lost European income because of them

🤷‍♂️

Where does it end

I don't think this will bother us too much in the bigger picture. Maybe immediate cash flow.

TFG will have indemnified themselves against this decision in terms of what the club owes Moshiri I would imagine. It was a historic case. So they just move the funds out of Assets and reduce Liabilities.

Or something of that nature.
