Those last few weeks of the season and our reaction to it has showed everyone what type of club we are.
I think this also.

You can tell he has a really good rapport with the fans, he does like it here a lot.

I recon if the communication out the club was how disappointed they were, how frustrated they were with the last few months and how they will.strive to work out how that happened to ensure it doesn't happen again etc then he would stay quite happily.

Instead of the manager saying he can't understand why fans would be upset and disappointed, or the club putting stupid statements out about happily dissatisfied whatever that fucking means...

Its loser talk, loser mentality.

If you believe in yourself as a player, then of course you strive to be the best.

Ideally would be someone hired by the club!

I'd imagine it's more that he's already been tapped up by a champions league club. There's been a few rumours of Man UTD and you'd imagine if he does well at the world cup maybe some others who've sounded him out might firm up their interest.

Last summer Inter Milan bid for him, so another that's potentially been in his ear again.

Don’t think he’s consistent enough to be an integral part of any CL side or sides that have CL ambitions

I don’t think he is either, couldn’t see him being more than a bit part player

It’s all very well talking about wanting to play in europe etc but while the whole of the team (and management) were crap in those last 6 or so games, he’s as responsible any anyone that we didn’t make it. He missed a few sitters in those games and was poor generally so who knows what the outcome could have been.

I don't either but I could imagine a team taking him as a rotation option.

Players generally back themselves and have the belief they'll force their way in to being a regular starter, so I don't think it's an obstacle for him if a transfer to a champions league club is a possibility.

He'd start for someone like Aston Villa who are really the club we should be if we had any real ambition.

You don't have to be a World Beater to have a part to play for a club if you work as hard as he does.

I'd say he's a similar level to the likes of Trossard and Martinelli who both just won the league and got to the CL final

Yeah I've thought of him potentially being a Trossard replacement previously, so think that's a great comparison.

Looks like he's played himself out of the Senegal team anyway. Hopefully gets time against Iraq
