Wide players, both fb and wide midfielders were horrendous last night. Not sure what Reece James offered at all.

I think there's a case for Gordon against better opposition, especially if O'Reilly is playing LB.

Against weaker opposition who low block and condense space then you need that extra something that Rashford can produce.

Just need to pick the right players for the right matches and it feels Tuchel got it wrong yesterday. Think his logic was we'd get a goal one way or another so being defensively sound against a fast counter was going to give us the 3 points... It didn't and we probably should have lost with Konsa sent off.

Press are having a big overreaction as they love jumping on the England hate wagon.

Tuchel is building his team to play against the big sides on the assumption that we’ll get through far enough to do so, which makes sense if you’re hoping to actually win the thing.

If that game was a knockout game Ghana would have had to attack a bit as you can’t defend that deep for one hundred and twenty minutes, it’s not representative of the knockout football we’ll be playing after Panama.

Works both ways with the media, beat Croatia and they were the best team in the competition and Tuchel was an absolute genius, draw with Ghana and they're back to criticising them again. Everyone went way over the top after the first game so the come down was always going to big, in reality there was no real damage done last night.
